Spanish Carlos Alós Ferrer has confirmed his resignation as Rwanda’s Amavubi head coach.
Carlos announced his leaving through his Instagram page, Tuesday 8, following poor performance and Rwanda’s failure to qualify for the African Cup of Nations slated in January 2024.
“I want to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to work in this amazing country,” his post reads in part.
The football regulatory body in Rwanda has not yet officially responded to Carlos’ leaving.
