Rider Peter Joseph Blackmore is the winner of Tour du Rwanda 2024 following his extraordinary courage to cross finishing line

The Israel Premier Tech star, Blackmore, rode his way to the Kigali Convention Centre in wild celebrations after winning Sunday’s final stage to cement his Tour du Rwanda 2024 glory.

The Briton succeeds Eritrean Henok Mulueberhane who won it last year. He wasn’t able to defend it after pulling out after suffering a shoulder injury.

Blackmore, 21, has not lost the yellow jersey since he took it over from William Junior Lecerf on Friday after winning Stage Six from Musanze to Mount Kigali.
