Women aged 18-50 are urged to stop drinking alcohol as suggested in a draft global alcohol action plan for 2022-2030 by World Health Organization (WHO).
The plan claims that drinking alcohol harms the unborn baby.
WHO suggested that all women of childbearing age should effectively stay away from drinking alcohol regardless of their family plans.
Taken as ‘unscientific guidance’, however, the UN global health agency has said alcoholic drink should be avoided among all those of ‘childbearing age’.

It is believed that reproductive age, according to the WHO, ranges from 15 to 50-years-old.
